We are currently seeking a creative technologist / electronics engineer with a willingness to work across diverse and varied projects with a focus on supporting the creation of interactive industrial designs.  Experience of creating electronic prototypes using Arduino, Raspberry Pi and related platforms is essential.  You will be responsible for supporting students and researchers in the integration of electronics into their designs, as well as the testing and development of novel ideas. 

Additionally, you will oversee the maintenance and operation of 3D printers and support students and staff with laser cutting within the department.  Other duties will involve PAT testing and maintenance of equipment and day to day management of your working areas to a professional standard.
The successful candidate will be a skilled Technician with proven professional experience in working within an Industrial Design setting.
