Applications are invited for appointment as Research Assistant Professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, to commence as soon as possible on a fixed-term basis for two to three years, with the possibility of renewal.
Applicants should possess a Ph.D. degree in developmental biology, reproductive biology, medical/biological sciences or a related field. Experience in endometrial/trophoblast organoid culture, trophoblast and vascular researches, flow cytometry and decidual immune cells will be an advantage. Applicants should be sensible and committed; have self-initiatives with a strong sense of responsibility; and be able to work independently and in a team. The appointee will work with a team to conduct patho-physiological and bio-molecular research on early pregnancy and reproductive medicine. Travelling to the University of Hong Kong-Shenzhen Hospital, Shenzhen is required.
A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits. The appointment will attract a contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 15% of basic salary.
