The Division of Cancer Sciences within the School of Medical Sciences, Faculty of Biology, Medicine & Health are seeking an experienced, enthusiastic and motivated person who will be responsible for project managing and supporting the breast research team to develop and merge data sets to investigate factors leading to breast cancer recurrence and the socioeconomic and medical factors causing it across Greater Manchester.

You should be educated to degree level or equivalent with experience of all aspects of both clinical and non-clinical research project administration within a university and/or NHS context.

You will be expected to manage complex, multidisciplinary projects, to provide advice and support for grant and clinical trial preparation and submission and produce accurate and high quality progress reports for each project within the overarching programme of research.

You will have excellent communication and team working skills with ability to work with several multidisciplinary academics. You will have an aptitude for assimilating large amounts of complex information quickly to develop an understanding of a number of different topics.

A driving licence would be desirable as travel will be required to each of the Greater Manchester Trusts and University.
