RECETOX, the research centre at the Masaryk University in Brno, Czech Republic, is focused on the research and education in cross-cutting area of Environment and Health, namely interactions among chemicals, the environment and biological systems, including environmental and health risk assessments, more about us at www.recetox.muni.cz.
We invite applications for a Ph.D. position in Analytical biochemistry to work in the group of Dr. Zdenek Spacil.
The main role of this position is concerned with the metabolic phenotyping of human gut microbiota and characterization of membrane lipids in Alzheimer’s disease. Background in mass spectrometry-based techniques and analytical or clinical chemistry is preferred.

Candidate shall possess MSc. or a corresponding degree from a university in Organic chemistry, solid background in the respective field and good communication skills in English language.
