The School of Natural Sciences and Psychology seeks to appoint a Lecturer or Senior Lecturer with demonstrated research potential to contribute to our successful undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in Forensic Anthropology and Bioarchaeology. The Research Centre in Evolutionary Anthropology and Palaeoecology has research themes in forensic anthropology and in the contexts of human evolution.  We would welcome applications from candidates with forensic casework or consultancy experience and expertise in environmental or science-based archaeology. The ability to teach excavation techniques in the field would be desirable. This appointment is part of a strategic investment in the research and teaching of forensic anthropology at LJMU.

Informal enquiries may be made to Professor Joel Irish on 0151 231 2387, or email j.d.irish@ljmu.ac.uk (Subject Leader for Anthropology and Archaeology).

Please note all of our vacancies will be closed to applications at midnight on the advertised closing date, unless otherwise stated.
