COORDINTATOR, STRATEGIC INITIATIVES, Sloan School of Management-Office of External Relations (OER), to be responsible for project management, content curation, digital and print communications, and data support for Sloan’s strategic initiatives and campaign themes as part of its Office of External Relations’ Strategic Initiatives team. Will also collaborate with staff and faculty from across the school with the goal of developing, overseeing, and producing work to aid in building philanthropic support for Sloan’s priority initiatives. Responsibilities include providing content curation and ongoing maintenance of MIT Sloan Campaign website and the internal campaign toolkit website; building and managing initiative toolkits; providing writing and design support for campaign-related materials including website content, printables, giving opportunities and proposals, etc.; providing content curation and writing support for initiative-themed newsletters for external and internal audiences; serving as an OER point person for select faculty members with regard to development and engagement opportunities for alumni and unaffiliated prospects; coordinating initiative prospect pipelines and helping to curate lists of potential invitees for activities related to Sloan’s strategic initiatives; assisting with the development and maintenance of initiative pipelines and/or donor pyramids; and supporting reporting needs as requested by initiative leads, including donor listings, event lists, and advisory board suggestions. Will report to the senior associate director.
REQUIRED: bachelor’s degree, at least three years of experience in a relevant field, excellent written and oral communication skills, meticulous attention to detail, self-motivation, discretion with confidential issues, and project management experience.
Occasional evening or weekend work may be required.
