Associate or Full Professor of Germanic Studies
The Department of Germanic Studies at the University of Chicago seeks a colleague to join a program that emphasizes excellence in scholarship and teaching and maintains strong ties to neighboring disciplines in humanities, arts, and social sciences. Though area of specialization is open, candidates should have a strong background in literary, social, and cultural theory as well as in the German literary, artistic, theatrical, and philosophical traditions.
