Join a growing, collegial, bimodal department of motivated IT professionals; great facilities, team environment, exceptional resources. Serve as Senior IT Project Leader for Systems. Report to Associate CIO. Lead Initiatives for the architecture, maintenance, performance, and security of Penn Law’s data center, network, email, web services, digital storage, and databases. Provide systems administration, account management, email routing, firewall administration, programming, scripting and technical expertise for a variety of Penn Law services. Manage projects to complete the move of all Penn Law systems and services to cloud hosting and cloud providers. Together with Associate CIO, serves as Security Liaison and be responsible for the integrity of account lifecycles, data retention, disaster recovery and business continuity efforts. Duties include: Project management, Windows and Linux systems administration, Information security, Cloud services and hosting.

A Master’s Degree or more and 3 years to 5 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Experience in a law or academic setting preferred. Experience in project leadership or direction of a technical area required. Demonstrated experience must
include expertise in:

  • Email routing; O365 Enterprise Services.
  • Linux systems administration; Bash scripting.
  • Firewalls; Information Security.
  • Python, PowerShell, SQL.
  • VMWare, AWS and Azure.
