Role Description

Cranfield is an exclusively postgraduate university that is a global leader for education and transformational research in technology and management.

The International Partnerships and Student Recruitment Department works with and supports the wider University in its goals to:

  • Support and drive Student Recruitment
  • Provide a first class Admissions Service
  • Create and support International Partnerships
  • Support the Schools generally in broader marketing activities

This is an exciting opportunity to join the embedded Admissions service located in our academic Schools. You will be the first point of contact for all course enquiries and applications, ensuring that enquiries are recorded and followed up using the university’s CRM (Customer Relationship Management) system. You will provide administrative support to one of the School admission teams, ensuring that applications and supporting documentation are distributed promptly to team members.

You will also provide advice to prospective students, helping them choose the course that best meets their needs as well as answering questions about studying at Cranfield. The role supports wider recruitment activities such as student ambassador telephone campaigns as well as sending out communications to prospective students to keep them updated about the university. You will support the wider work of the university at major events such as Open Days, Registration and Graduation ceremonies.

The role requires a keen attention to detail and you will need to be able to work quickly and accurately. There will be frequent contact with admission tutors, prospective students and sponsors, so you will have excellent customer service and interpersonal skills. Much of the work is computer based, so IT literacy, experience of using databases and the web are essential.

At Cranfield, we value Diversity and Inclusion, and aim to create and maintain a culture in which everyone can work and study together harmoniously with dignity and respect and realise their full potential. We actively consider flexible working options such as part-time, compressed or flexible hours and/or an element of homeworking, and commit to exploring the possibilities for each role.
