Applications are invited for appointment as Post-doctoral Fellow (2 posts) in the Department of Surgery, to commence as soon as possible for two to three years.

Applicants should possess a Ph.D. degree, proven experience and good publication record in the area of developmental biology, stem cell biology, or neuroscience relevant area.  Experience in handling human induced pluripotent stem cell (hiPSC), neuronal cell differentiation, derivation of organoids from hiPSC, flow cytometry or confocal imaging is essential, so is self-motivation. Experience in electrophysiology and patch-clamp analysis will be an advantage. The appointees will join a young and dynamic research group working independently to study neurogenesis using human pluripotent stem cells and/or animal models.  Enquiries should be directed to Dr. Elly Ngan at
