Health and Wellbeing services is seeking a highly competent, motivated and organized individual to provide direct administrative support for managing the accounts receivable transactions for fitness classes and our fitness center memberships.
This position will:
- Provide administrative / accounting support for MHealthy’s business operations with accounts receivable transactions
- provide routine office support including filing, copying, mailing, faxing and delivering documents to other offices on campus.
- Act as backup to the front desk administrative assistant and route telephone calls.
- Provide backup support to other support staff as needed.
- Assist with other projects as necessary.
The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated ability to organize, prioritize, and complete tasks in a timely manner. The candidate will have demonstrated a high aptitude and comfort level with using system applications including excel, word, and databases.
Two or more years of experience in an administrative role. Associate’s degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel. Demonstrated ability to perform data entry with accuracy. Demonstrated comfort, willingness, and desire to learn new skills, including web and computer applications.
Three or more years of relevant administrative/accounting experience including experience with databases. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively will be essential to working effectively in our team-oriented environment.
This position will report to the Associate Director of Business Operations. The candidate must be available to work during normal business hours 8:00 a.m - 4:30 p.m. Hours will vary between 20-40/week. This position is located at Wolverine Tower. Pay will be commensurate with experience and skills.
