The successful appointee will be responsible for lab management, conducting research work of their own area in relation to materials for electrochemical energy storage and conversion, being involved in supervision of postgraduate/undergraduate students, teaching if required, community service and administration.
Applicants should possess a PhD in Chemistry, Materials Science and Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related scientific field. You should have demonstrated experience on lab management; skills in dealing with postgraduate students, skills and capability in conducting innovative research; demonstrated skills and capability of writing scientific papers in English; and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues.

This role is a full-time position; however flexible working arrangements may be negotiated.

This is a full-time, fixed term appointment at Research Academic Level A for one year with possible extension. The remuneration package will be in the range $64,533. - $87,535.p.a., plus employer superannuation contributions of up to 17% (total package will be in the range $75,504 - $102,416p.a.).
