Monash University is seeking an outstanding appointee to provide academic leadership in its Department of Economics, Faculty of Business and Economics. The Department of Economics is one of the foundation departments of Monash University. It has over 50 staff members (excluding sessional staff) and teaches on seven campuses, offering undergraduate and postgraduate programs on‑campus.
The Department of Economics at Monash University invites applications for a full-time continuing position (comparable to tenure-track) at the Associate Professor level. Applications are sought from individuals with a strong record of quality refereed journals of an international standard and demonstrated ability to generate research income.
Applicants must have a PhD in an area of economics and demonstrated commitment to high-quality teaching. Appointments will be made at a level appropriate to the successful applicants' qualifications and experience.
This role is a full-time position; however flexible working arrangements may be negotiated.
