The School of Mechanical, Aerospace & Civil Engineering is looking to appoint a Student & Education Support Administrator, to provide ongoing day to day operational support to the Management of Projects MSc offered in the School. This will involve providing support to the Programme Directors and students to deliver a high quality, customer-focused service. You will assist in maintaining an effective enquiry office for all taught students, academic staff and visitors. You will assist with preparations and activities for programme specific events throughout the year. You will assist with a wide range of administrative tasks including student record maintenance, data entry and course unit selection. You will be required to service various committees and meetings assisting with the production of programme documentation and handbooks in line with School and University guidelines.
This role will suit an adaptable and self-motivated individual with a good standard of education and good IT and communication skills. You will be self-motivated, able to work flexibly as part of a team, be well organised with the ability to meet deadlines.
The successful applicant will be expected to have excellent secretarial skills and knowledge of the Higher Education environment would be an advantage.
