Position overview

Information Technology Services (ITS) provides corporate IT services to ANU staff, students and visitors in support of achieving excellence in research, teaching and public policy. These services include network, communications, computing platforms, data storage, desktop and mobile access, enterprise systems, student learning environments, and IT security. The work of ITS is coordinated with services provided within and by University Colleges and other Service Divisions to form a cohesive, University-wide information services infrastructure. The AV Services team maintains the AV systems to the University (200+ rooms), provides video conferencing services and assists other areas of the university with AV support, consultation and project management services.

The successful applicant will be required to lead, contribute and maintain a catalogue of AV/IT solutions and their underpinning architectural standards. You will also identify technologies to enhance pedagogical outcomes in ANU learning spaces and provide technical expertise and advice to management, other members of staff internal and external to ITS.   Accreditation in enterprise grade AV systems, Infocomm certification, CTS and Crestron Digital Media Certification – Design is required.

Networking and in particular multicasting would be advantageous.
