Student Visa Services are looking for a highly motivated individual to be responsible and accountable for the University’s compliance regime with respect to its UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI) Tier 4 sponsorship licence and provide expert input to the University’s Tier 2 and 5 compliance regimes (which are the responsibility of HR) and their intersection with Tier 4.

The successful applicant will report to the Student Visa Services Manager, who keeps an overview of both the advice and compliance remits. The University’s Student Visa Compliance Manager will be the subject expert and the University’s identified ‘Key Contact’ for the UKVI, managing the University’s communication with the UKVI and providing expert advice to the University’s senior management, administrative and academic staff in schools, faculties and relevant central divisions, and students on complex cases and UKVI compliance responsibilities.

You will be able to demonstrate detailed working knowledge of UKVI legislation, policy and regulations and an in-depth understanding of compliance as it relates to students and higher education institutions, as well as significant experience of Tier 4 compliance processes in higher or further education.
