The University of Chicago's Department of Surgery, Section of Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery, is searching for a full-time faculty member at any rank. The successful applicant will have inpatient and outpatient responsibilities specializing in the treatment of voice disorders and diseases of the larynx in a multidisciplinary setting. Other duties will include teaching and supervision of trainees and students, and scholarly activity. Academic rank and compensation (including a generous package of fringe benefits) are dependent upon qualifications. We especially welcome applicants with a commitment to academic medicine as evidenced by contributions to the fields of otolaryngology and laryngology.
Prior to the start of employment, qualified applicants must:
- have a medical doctorate or equivalent,
- hold or be eligible for medical licensure in the State of Illinois,
- be Board certified or eligible by the American Board of Otolaryngology or equivalent,
- have completed an accredited Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery residency or training program, and
- have completed an accredited fellowship or equivalent training in larynoglogy.
