In this role

The opportunity exists for a passionate and established academic with an ability to lead the new Diploma of Sports Coaching and Development course to be delivered in partnership with Carlton Football Club.

This position will provide you with the opportunity to undertake a crucial role coordinating the course that will be based at the Carlton FC facility in Carlton, as well as lead the development of curriculum, coordinate and teach undergraduate subjects.

As a senior member of the discipline’s staff, you will contribution to the discipline’s research, supervising higher degree students and supporting research projects.

Skills and Experience

To be considered for this role you will have completed a PhD or relevant qualifications plus extensive industry experience and standing.

You will possess a strong record of research publications, experience in preparing research proposals and demonstrated capacity in curriculum development and teaching excellence.

Your ability to mentor and supervising undergraduate, honours and postgraduate students, and encourage intellectual development and career aspirations of students, will see you succeed in this role.
