Job Description

Occupational Summary

Perform a variety of technical duties involved in conducting standardized tests, experiments and determinations in support of research-oriented activities at Duke University.

Work Performed

The candidate will work closely with a research scientist and the principal investigator to perform the following duties:

Animal genotyping, Animal pain and/or itch behavioral test, Animal tissue dissection, Cryostat sectioning, Immunohistochemistry Image analysis with the fluorescence microscope, Cell culture, Calcium imaging, Western blot, RT-PCR
