Starting Salary: £14,757.50 per annum (based on full time equivalent £29,515)
Salary Grade: Band G
Annual Leave: 20 days per annum
Hours: Part Time 0.5 FTE (18 hours per week)
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and skilled Theatre Technician to join a team that provides high quality support for teaching, research, outreach and enterprise within the Faculty of Education, Humanities and Social Sciences.
Applications are particularly welcomed from those with extensive theatre experience, awareness and knowledge of basic Health and Safety compliance, specialist skills in either lighting, sound, stage management or scenic design/construction.
Reporting to the Head of the Drama School, the post holder will oversee the practical activities within the departments’ theatre, studios and teaching spaces both on and off the University campus.
Background: The Drama School holds a provision of studio and theatre spaces that service a variety of degree programmes, while also committing to recognized outputs in Research, Outreach and Enterprise Activities involving the local communities.
