Position Summary:

This key appointment will be one of a number of strategic appointments that will provide leadership at the national and or international level through their contributions to the research success for the College of Business, Government and Law in areas of Flinders Business and the wider University, with a particular focus on the Future of Work in the Digital Age.

The incumbent will foster excellence through the establishment of a new multi-disciplinary Future of Work Research Centre based in the Australian Industrial Transformation Institute in Flinders Business and through the development of key industry and government partnerships. Through these key relationships, this position will strengthen the College’s research impact and excellence through innovative research, leadership and the provision of high quality research outputs.

The appointee will contribute to the College and University’s reputation as the destination of choice for undergraduate and research higher degree students locally and internationally through these levers. The appointee will also be expected to apply for external funding/fellowships and support and undertake new research whilst fostering a strong research culture within the College, including building strong and productive relationships with industry and other tertiary institutions.
