Director of Stakeholder Engagement, DCRI, Clinical Trials Transformation Initiative

The Director of Stakeholder Engagement will assist the Executive Director to creatively engage member organizations and other stakeholders in partnering with the Clinical Trials Transformation Initiative (CTTI) in order to improve the quality and efficiency of clinical trials. Develop and implement strategies to organize the membership community around CTTI’s mission, and leverage the members’ perspectives to inform CTTI priorities and initiatives. Enhance the visibility of CTTI’s efforts and contributions across a diverse array of stakeholders.
- Planning, Management, and Evaluation of membership plan Contribute to the development of a comprehensive and integrated membership plan—including member acquisition, member retention, and member engagement—that supports CTTI’s overall strategic plan. Oversee the implementation of most aspects of the plan and membership operations, including billing, dues acknowledgement, welcome messages, orientation etc. Conduct ongoing evaluations of membership strategies and recommend changes to increase effectiveness. Help design processes to capture, analyze, and report information; participate in the development, implementation, and analysis of the membership surveys. Stakeholder Cultivation, Engagement, and Retention Assume primary responsibility and act as primary resource for membership acquisition. Design, implement, and evaluate high-performance targeting and cultivation strategies to secure new members. Work collaboratively across the organization—including with strategy and project teams—to align organizational activities with membership-related goals to offer multiple engagement points, and ensure execution of the membership value proposition. Review organizational programs and contacts for potential membership opportunities. Measure specific activities to support retention and acquisition goals, including events, messaging campaigns, peer-to-peer outreach initiatives, and special programs and/or services. Develop recommendations for new activities as needed. Work across the organization to develop strategies to expand and deepen CTTIs relationship with member organizations. Collaborate with the co-chairs of the Executive Committee, the Executive Director and other colleagues to evaluate and improve processes used to engage stakeholders. Identify sector specific activities and engagement opportunities. For patient sector engagement: Develop strategies to facilitate better communication and engagement with the patient advocacy community and foster awareness of CTTI projects. Develop and implement strategies to capture and incorporate the perspectives of patients in the planning and execution of CTTI projects and development of recommendations. Work closely with project managers and team leaders to facilitate participation of patient advocates on project teams. Research and Analysis Track and report appropriate membership-related data. Understand the history and current trendsrelated to CTTI’s membership. Contribute to the development of systems to improve data analysis and evaluation. Keep abreast of trends related to membership models and network behaviors. Identify promising practices and ideas for CTTI’s consideration. Outreach and Customer Service Prepare and deliver public presentations regarding CTTI efforts at professional and trade meetings and other appropriate venues. Proactively identify presentation opportunities and prepare and submit abstracts as required. Conduct outreach and manage customized cultivation path of member prospects. Develop relationships and make personal contacts with members and prospects to support acquisition and retention efforts. Manage member customer service efforts and personally handle queries and communications related to special circumstances, including contacts and cases where membership falls outside of the standard process. Support CTTI staffin their efforts to assist with membership goals, including ensuring appropriate coordination, customized materials and background information, and other support as necessary. Other duties as assigned.

Bachelor's degree in communications, business, life science, clinical, clinical research, technical, or related field.
Seven years directly related experience in stakeholder representation, coalition-building, grassroots organizing, or policy in health related sectors. OR AN EQUIVALENT COMBINATION OF RELEVANT EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
