The University of Bristol is working with the City Council, local communities and industry to develop a new £300 million campus in the Enterprise Zone at Temple Quarter.
We are delighted to offer three exciting and challenging Business Analyst roles (one of which is focused specifically on the User Journey) which will be crucial to the successful delivery of our flagship Temple Quarter second campus growth programme. These roles will focus on four key projects: Innovation in Education & Skills, Research & Innovation, Site Development and Innovation in Campus Operations.
The positions will also be involved in the analysis and support of cross cutting work-streams including Communications, Engagement, Enterprise, Philanthropy, Change and UX including Business Readiness, Finance, HR and Internationalisation.
Business Analyst (Generalist) – 2 Roles
Ready for a new challenge, you will be a mature and seasoned Business Analyst with experience in large scale, strategically important, multi-faceted, complex and high-profile projects, including delivery in large, complex public sector or similar environments. You will have experience of planning Business Analysis outputs, and will be able to define the approach to, and deliver, explicit, quantifiable and testable requirements through analysis activities including elicitation, documentation, validation, tracing and management of requirements.
You’ll be highly knowledgeable and will have experience in PRINCE 2 methodology and will possess the ability to interpret business and technical needs and to translate these for a Business audience and vice-versa. Familiarity with Use Cases, User Stories, Business Process Modelling (BPMN) and formal qualifications in ISEB/BCS, Agile and/or Project Management would be an advantage.
Business Analyst (User Journey) – 1 Role
You will be a mature and seasoned Business Analyst or Journey Manager with experience in large scale, strategically important, multi-faceted, complex and high-profile projects, including delivery in large, complex public sector or similar environments. You will have proven experience in gathering and understanding requirements from key stakeholders including the identification and mapping of user touchpoints, outputs, and journeys.
You will have experience in the creation of user journey maps and the representation of end to end target experiences and will be able to support the delivery of explicit, quantifiable and testable requirements through analysis activities including elicitation, documentation, validation, tracing and the ongoing management of requirements.
Experience of working to a PRINCE 2 methodology, familiarity with Business Process Modelling (BPMN) and formal qualifications in ISEB/BCS, and/or Project Management would be an advantage.
