The University has 3 campuses located at St. Lucia, Gatton and Herston. The University also operates medical and dental schools in Brisbane and a number of research stations and farms throughout Queensland.
The Property & Facilities Division (P&F) is responsible for delivering comprehensive facilities management that support the University's teaching and research goals and its strategic objectives of Learning, Discovery and Engagement.
To achieve this, and to further improve the environment in which members of the University community study, work and live, P&F provide a range of services. These include: Infrastructure & Sustainability (ie energy management, sustainability office, engineering services), Project Delivery (ie new buildings, refurbishments, feasibilities), Planning & Property (ie. master planning, leasing, space management), Campus Operations (i.e. building maintenance, grounds and playing field maintenance, fire safety, security and parking, transport, cleaning, furniture, logistics, UQ fleet, mail dispatch).

P&F manages the University's Environmental Management System, provides advice, and promotes best sustainability practices at UQ. The main focus of the Client Facility Coordinator (CFC) is to create and maintain strong relationships with clients across a designated Precinct area. The CFC is accountable for being the point of contact for clients and to coordinate the end to end delivery of maintenance services and for implementing maintenance projects and initiatives which align to the clients need and the Property and Facilities Divisions, as well as the broader University. This role is responsible to carry out hands on statutory, preventative and corrective maintenance services across the range of facilities within the Precinct Area.
The successful candidate will have demonstrated strong communication and negotiation skills, as well as the ability to establish and maintain productive working relationships with stakeholders and proven experience becoming a trusted advisor and service provided.
It is essential that applicants have the following trade/qualification
- Refrigeration Mechanic
You should have knowledge and technical experience in the provision of building maintenance services, combined with sound knowledge of mechanical, electrical or plumbing services in large, complex building portfolios (including technical, scientific or laboratory facilities).

This role is a full-time position; however flexible working arrangements may be negotiated.
This is a full-time, continuing appointment at HEW Level 6. The remuneration package will be in the range $74,207 - $79,964 p.a., plus employer superannuation contributions of up to 17% (total package will be in the range $86,822 - $87,560 p.a.).
This position is located at UQ St Lucia Campus.
