The Department

The Student Conduct Office

The Student Conduct Office is part of the Student Support and Wellbeing Directorate within the Colleges and Student Experience Division. This office administers University-level complaints, and institutional disciplinary processes resulting from non-academic and behavioral misconduct.

Role Purpose

There are four core areas involved in this role:

Policy development

To develop the university’s related policies and procedures in the areas of sexual violence and misconduct.

Student support

To ensure appropriate support is available to any students and staff who disclose experiencing sexual violence and misconduct and/or domestic abuse whether they seek to report the incident to the University/Police or not.

Prevention and education

To develop and deliver training to students and staff in the following areas: 1) consent education, 2) bystander interventions, 3) disclosure response, 4) support of survivors and 5) investigations into misconduct allegations made under the Sexual Violence & Misconduct Policy.

Case management

To manage cases of sexual violence and misconduct reported to the university.
