The Platform and Technology Project Specialist for Penn Engineering Online Learning is responsible for creation, ongoing maintenance and changes of all technical course assessments. Will manage the content management system (CMS) with a third-party vendor that will support technical content creation. Working directly with course faculty and TAs, the Platform and Technology Project Specialist will guide and recommend the development of complex assessments, write programs as needed to implement those assessments in the platform, find and integrate third party plug-ins to enhance assessment delivery, and work with the CMS vendor to identify platform enhancements. Oversees the installation of all system updates, upgrades, integrated tools, and other software integrated within the content management system.
The Platform and Technology Project Specialist will also oversee the testing process for all technical elements prior the release of a course. Responsible for maintenance of these elements, and triaging and troubleshooting technical issues from administrators and users related to course content.
This a 3 year term position
