We are seeking to appoint a talented researcher to join a collaboration between the MRC Integrative Epidemiology (IEU) at the University of Bristol and the pharmaceutical company Sanofi. This exciting post will provide an excellent opportunity to develop analytical skills in validating gene targets for therapeutic intervention. The position will also provide fantastic early career prospects and lead to findings that will be publishable in international peer-reviewed journals. The postholder will be based at the MRC IEU although, there will be opportunities to visit Sanofi at their research and development department in Paris, France.

Candidates must have a PhD (or equivalent experience) in genetic epidemiology, bioinformatics or related subject area. They will also have a strong publication record and experience in conducting high-quality research in the field. Experience in conducting analyses using large-scale datasets will be advantageous.
