This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious graduate with the ability and confidence to work in state-of-the-art applied Machine Learning (ML) project with BluePrism.

The University of Manchester and BluePrism are looking to recruit a research associate to undertake this project which has the overall aim of building a state-of-the-art system for detecting user intents and actions on Desktops.

The position will provide you with a unique opportunity to apply state-of-the-art methods in Machine Learning (ML), Computer Vision (CV) and Computational Semantics in the scope of Robotic Process Automation (RPA).

You will require either a strong MSc or PhD, in a science/engineering subject and academic or industrial experience in the area of applied Machine Learning. You should have software development experience in Java or Python (preferred).

The post is funded through an Impact Acceleration Account (IAA) award, a UK Government scheme intended to promote sustained and mutually beneficial relationships between universities and industry.

You will work directly with supervisors from both the University and BluePrism and will use the facilities and resources of both organisations.
