Human Resources Generalist - Patient Revenue Management Organization (PRMO)

Duties and Responsibilities of this Level – 80%

This position will partner with the respective business teams to implement and administer HR programs in a variety of areas including employee relations, team engagement (tactical), performance management (tactical) and employee retention. This position will serve as the first line of support for day-to-day inquiries of Team members and assist in coaching and guiding on routine matters.

The HR Generalist should be a highly customer centric individual with a bias towards change and the ability to assist in propelling team success. Responsibilities include: participate as a strategic member of the Human Resources team and execute against organizational business plans; perform broad professional human resources tasks to support policies and programs including onboarding, complaint investigation, and routine data analysis; provide counsel in the interpretation and application of DUHS and PRMO policies through effective guidance for managers and team members ensuring compliance with state and federal requirements; support implementation of HR initiatives involving organizational culture, change management, leadership development, and career development. 

Other duties include 20%

Prepares reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends; work with leaders to effectively create performance plans, ensure effective documentation and collaboration with compliance and/or legal; conducts necessary workplace investigations, and ensures effective tracking and responses to claims; owns administrative activities including HR reporting, metrics, verifications, headcount, and exit process and employee transactions. This position will also require skill in the delivery of classroom presentation and training materials.

Communication Skills

Exceptional interpersonal, relationship management and communication skills with a proven record of influencing others, and collaborating across multiple operations and corporate support functions.  '

Special Skills:

Functional knowledge and experience in labor relations, conflict resolution, progressive HR project work preferred including project management and implementation skills; general knowledge of compensation, performance management, and engagement preferred; proven track record of building strong relationships vertically and horizontally within an organization; possesses high standards of ethical behavior, confidentiality, professionalism, and objectivity; skillful in listening and ascertaining the needs and concerns of people and in communicating information concerning processes, policies, and procedures with accuracy and clarity; strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills; ability to analyze data and identify trends and patterns and create innovative solutions; ability to handle competing priorities, organize and prioritize work and adapt comfortably to interrupted work flow; must be responsive, action-oriented, and innovative problem solver. 

Demonstrated ability to make informed decisions based on data and statistics and to work independently and follow through on assignments with minimal direction.

Minimum Qualifications


Work requires organizational, analytical and communication skills acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree program


Work requires two years of business, administrative and/or supervisory experience with exposure to supervisory or human resource policies and practices related to employee relations.

A master's degree in a related field may be substituted for 2 years of experience.
