PARNTER MANAGER, edX, to expand the development of online educational offerings with the top universities and institutions around the world. Will advise institutional leadership and production teams about taking advantage of edX technology and services as well as about industry best practices in order to create impactful online courses/programs; manage a portfolio of relationships with partner institutions, driving results through consultative guidance and account management; and collaborate with partners’ leadership teams to advise on strategy and the delivery of a portfolio of courses and learning programs, guide them to leverage best practices, and drive them to create offerings that offer substantive value for global learners. Responsibilities include serving as primary point of contact for partners; coordinating course strategy, production, and delivery efforts; developing deep understanding of partner’s objectives/success measures; balancing partners’ interests against edX’s; and handling renewal goals and contract management.
REQUIRED: five years’ experience in professional services or account management serving leading global organizations; proven success managing and growing complex client/partner relationships; ability to manage a portfolio of multiple projects simultaneously; ability to influence and get work done through others; strong stakeholder management skills across a range of partners, levels, and functions; excellent business writing and verbal communication skills; comfort with ambiguity; proactive approach to problem-solving; service- and team-orientation; a bias towards action; and comfort with owning responsibility to drive adoption of new ideas. Working knowledge of educational technologies, deploying SaaS technologies, or content production preferred; as is proven ability to meet or beat quota-based goals. Bachelor’s degree and advanced degree in business a plus, as is fluency in a foreign language.
