Postdoctoral Fellow in Psycho-oncology and Behavioural Medicine
Applications are invited for appointment as Post-doctoral Fellow in Psycho-oncology and Behavioural Medicine in the Division of Behavioural Sciences of the School of Public Health, to commence as soon as possible for 2 years, with the possibility of renewal.
Applicants should possess a Ph.D. degree in psychology, social sciences or a relevant discipline. Preference will be given to those with doctoral level training in clinical psychology, behavioural medicine or health psychology. The appointee will conduct research in psycho-oncology focusing on assessment and interventions. The ultimate goal of this fellowship is to establish research competency in managing cancer demands across illness trajectory. The appointee is expected to develop relevant methodologies, and be involved in various aspects of the research processes, including grant applications, research planning and implementation, supervision of junior research staff and postgraduate students, and report and paper writing.
