We are seeking to recruit a qualified Counsellor, Psychotherapist or Counselling Psychologist (BACP, UKCP or BPS) to join our established multidisciplinary team working with students and staff with wide ranging and sometimes complex issues.

We are looking for someone with the following:

  • Able to deliver a range of interventions, from very brief (1-3 sessions) to medium term
  • Experience and/or training in very brief models of counselling (e.g. Solution Focused Therapy, CBT)
  • Experience of working in Higher Education or Youth Counselling
  • Able to work with crisis and risk presentations
  • Integrative and flexible therapeutic approach

The post holder will be required to work 5 days a week. Core hours are 9am-5pm. Willingness to work one evening a week if needed would be an advantage.
