Role Description

Cranfield is a world-renowned, exclusively postgraduate University specialising in Creating Leaders in Technology and Management and we are currently seeking a Student Finance Assistant to join our busy Student Finance Team.

You will have experience of working in a busy environment in a large complex organisation or Higher Education institution. You will be customer focused in your approach to work, have good numeracy and analytical skills and good organisational and time management skills.

You must be able to demonstrate an in-depth understanding of double entry book keeping. You will have experience across the range of different tasks relating to operating the Sales Ledger and related credit control practices.

You will have excellent interpersonal skills to communicate both orally and in writing with key stakeholders across the University, our students and sponsors and other third parties.

Ideally you will have or be willing to work towards the AAT qualification (or equivalent), or alternatively you will be able to demonstrate equivalent relevant work experience. Prior experience of using our Finance system Agresso will be an advantage.
