You will be expected to lead and manage the Computer Games Development Programme and make broad contributions to the academic work of the Department of Computer Science. You will have flexibility in managing and leading a team of academics to deliver quality teaching, research and scholarship primarily in the area of Computer Games Development and across other programmes within the Department.

You should additionally be able to engage, both nationally and internationally, in contributions to research and teaching excellence in your own particular area of expertise within Computer Science. As a member of the Department’s management team you will have significant input in to the strategic development of the Department as well as engagement with the management of the Computer Games Development programme and its academic direction.

You should have a PhD degree in Computer Games, Computer Science or a closely related discipline with significant teaching and research experience and have demonstrated substantial management and administrative experience at a University level or in industry.
