Senior Lecturer/Associate Professor in Psychology

We are seeking an experienced and innovative psychology professional and academic leader to explore new directions in postgraduate curriculum development, contribute to teaching at both postgraduate and undergraduate psychology training levels and enhance the Schools’ research profile and culture. The level of appointment will be appropriate to teaching, research and leadership achievement and outcomes.
This role will provide an opportunity to develop a new program that will influence/guide the training of Psychology at ECU, and to provide leadership to a strong and growing research team. With the changes in Psychology Accreditation standards, this is an exciting time for someone with vision and leadership capability to make significant contributions to the future direction of the profession.
To be considered for this role you will be expected to:
- Be registered and have a clinical area of endorsement with PsyBA;
- Demonstrate strength in curriculum development at Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF) level 9 or equivalent;
- Have an excellent record in teaching and course/program coordination; and
- Demonstrate leadership in research, research supervision, and publication.

Benefits & Remuneration
This full time, ongoing position attracts remuneration of $119,173 - $137,170 (ALEVC) OR $143,196 - $157,563 (ALEVD) plus 17% University superannuation contribution.
