The Centre for Pharmacy Postgraduate Education (CPPE) provides learning opportunities for registered pharmacy professionals providing NHS services in England. Each year, we organise and deliver over 600 workshops and distribute more than 50,000 learning programmes.

CPPE is recruiting for the key post of Assistant Editor. This is a fixed-term contract until March 2019. It is expected, but not guaranteed, that the post will continue beyond this date until November 2019.

We seek a talented and motivated Editor to work on a diverse range of publications, including learning programmes and marketing materials, which we offer in print and online. The post will primarily involve editing manuscripts written by healthcare professionals, covering a wide range of medical topics. You will also write articles and lead the development of key documents, such as training guides or internal policies. Working as part of a small team, you will be involved in all aspects of the print production and online publication processes, and will be responsible for signing off final proofs.

You will have editing/editorial control experience and will have a proven track record of building good relationships with customers and colleagues. Experience of working with print publications is desirable.
