Client Services Assistant
We now have a full time (36.25 hours) fixed term appointment till 8th February 2019 for a Client Services Assistant to join our world-leading institution at James Cook University (JCU). This position is based at the Townsville campus in picturesque North Queensland, where you can enjoy a tropical lifestyle whilst achieving your career goals.
What you will achieve
You will deliver administrative support to the functional work units within the Student Centre’s. This will be achieved by performing routine, process driven administrative tasks and responding to non-complex student enquiries.
Tasks will vary across functions and work units depending on the business needs associated with different stages in the annual business cycle. You will also be responsible for completing tasks in accordance with direction, published process or system instructions, and understanding the requirement to refer complex issues of decisions to the appropriate supervisory staff member.

You can bring demonstrated ability to follow business processes and system instructions to complete routine administrative tasks with an ability to use sound judgement to identify matters requiring escalation to a specialist for higher level consideration.
