Remuneration:     A remuneration package of up to $133,719 (Level B) or $158,803 (Level C) per annum, inclusive of base salary $96,416-$114,290 (Level B) or $117,859-$135,729 (Level C) and 17% superannuation.

About the role

The School’s Bachelor of Nursing is one of the largest programs at the University, with over 1000 students studying across three campus locations. The School also offers a Graduate Certificate of Australian Nursing, allowing international students to qualify for Australian nursing registration.

In response to increased demand from both domestic and international students the School is in an exciting growth phase, developing further courses and nursing pathway programs.

The opportunity exists to join an energetic research and learning community in the School. This role will work collaboratively with a team of academics to deliver the Bachelor of Nursing program, with particular focus on the EN-BN program, across the University’s three campuses.

The successful applicant will actively contribute to the School through student centred teaching practice and development, contribute to the research and/or scholarship of teaching profile of the School through their publications, and undertake relevant engagement and service activities to support the School.

About you

You will be an energetic academic, ready to commit to the University’s values and priorities, engaged and innovative in your approach to the role, and keen to make a contribution to the University and the community through your activities.

To be successful in this role you will have extensive experience, expertise and demonstrated effectiveness in developing and supporting flexible and/or blended course delivery in nursing education. Preferred area/s of expertise is Indigenous health, primary health care, aged care, acute care, inter-professional education and/or nursing informatics.

You will display a student centred approach to your teaching, enjoy applying new and existing technology and have a commitment to reflective teaching practice. You will have a publication track record, reflective to opportunity, with a research profile that aligns with the School’s.
