PROGRAM COORDINATORSchool of Engineering-MIT Professional Education (PE), to collaborate with colleagues, program directors, staff, faculty, clients, and vendors in the delivery of world-class professional education programs to companies and individuals. Will be responsible for planning and organizing logistics and operations for custom and other programs in a dynamic, challenging business environment.  Duties will include serving as key program contact for all stakeholders; organizing, executing, or supervising all program delivery logistics for training programs; collecting program information/materials and assuring their timely publishing and distribution; developing/managing expenditure budgets; negotiating contracts with vendors for an array of services ranging from catering to audiovisual services to printing; handling applications and coordinating admissions of enrollees through PE’s CRM system; conducting and collating results from participant surveys; generating specialized reports; evaluating, recommending, and implementing operational changes/enhancements for future programs; representing program director in meetings/calls when needed; and participating on cross-functional project teams. May provide support to other PE programs as needed.

Job Requirements

REQUIRED:  B.A/B.S.; at least five years’ industry or executive education programming experience, preferably in a professional higher education and/or project management field; in-depth knowledge of program, event, and project management; demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service, build strong relationships, multitask, and work effectively in a pressured, fast-moving environment; excellent organizational, interpersonal, oral and written communication, presentation, and decision-making skills; good judgment with confidential information/issues; in-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office, e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, etc.; and knowledge of CRM systems and internet-based programs.  Knowledge of MIT a plus.   

Must be able to travel locally and work some evening and weekends.
