Job Summary

At Michigan Medicine, our PAR Management Team builds PAR supply carts, slot product, place product in appropriately sized bins, and arrange bins in correct sequence based on new Inventory Management Strategy. You will be helping to convert the Health System from a top up PAR replenishment model to a 2-Bin KANBAN system to improve the environment of care for patients and families. You will work as part of a project team while effectively working with clinical staff to resolve issues and concerns. As a member of our team, you will work to meet with clinical staff to review supply carts and to discuss potential rearrangement of supplies or need for additional supplies/carts. Responsibilities*

You will build clean room supply carts, slot product in bins, and systematically arranged by size and body system

You will enter new cart templates and changes into inventory system, while also stocking and running new inventory sheets for units. If there are new products, you will deliver product(s) to unit and place on cart(s)

You will run alpha cart queries from inventory system and post on PAR cart for all new and established customers. Deliver copy of alpha query to unit

You will process cart change requests from customers verifying request for duplicate items and space allocation, including physical check of space availability on carts to determine appropriate bin size

You will run and post labels for new PAR carts and established PAR carts with changes

You will update changes in unit of issue and stock numbers

You will need the ability to problem solve independently

Required Qualifications*

  • Experience working in a customer service operation
  • Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel and Computer systems
  • Proven analytical skills
  • Strong communication skills

Work Locations

Michigan Medicine off site warehouse on Ellsworth Rd near Ann Arbor Airport.
