Reporting to the Manager of Administration & Finance (MAF), this position will coordinate, monitor and process all transactions related to the office’s financial activities including weekly/monthly time reporting (payroll), purchasing, payables, reimbursements, purchasing card, and journal entries. The Financial Administrative Coordinator will set up and maintain account and transaction files. The primary focus will be to manage Payroll and assist in post award grant functions:
- Oversee Payroll entry (UMIS, PennWorks, Salary grids) and reconciliations; Perform personnel/payroll/human resource functions; Research and resolve wayward and suspense charges; Review and approve purchase order requests and travel expense reports.
- Assist post-award activities including preparing and entering budget journals, monitoring and reconciling award expenses, preparing manual journals, preparing VA invoices using OB10.
- Complete other business administrative tasks as assigned.

Minimum High School diploma and 5 years of experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience required. College course-work or degree preferred.
