Applications are invited from individuals who have a particular interest in the development of Tomorrow’s Doctors for this key role in the School of Medicine. Your understanding of education (ideally medical education) will be used as part of this exciting opportunity to ensure the quality of the delivery of medical education by enhancing the delivery of the MBChB curriculum and the support and development of our students.

This post involves developing the existing curriculum evaluation and student experience programme and leading its implementation. Using a variety of online and face to face methods, you will maintain a process for collecting, synthesising and responding to feedback on the curriculum from staff and students. You will be expected to have extensive experience in working in medical education or a related field, and a PhD in a relevant discipline (a PhD in medical education would be highly desirable).

The MBChB curriculum is delivered by the School of Medicine, in partnership with the five Research Institutes within the Faculty of Health and Life Sciences (Ageing and Chronic Disease, Infection and Global Health, Integrative Biology, Psychology, Health and Society and Translational Medicine), the Human Anatomy Resource Centre and acute trusts and GP placements across the region. You will be responsible for the co-ordination and dissemination of curriculum evaluation and student and staff experience data across all University and NHS partners.
