The role of Associate Lecturer/Lecturer within the School of Dentistry contributes principally to clinical teaching in Dentomaxillofacial Radiology at undergraduate and/or postgraduate levels. A contribution to the scholarship of teaching is encouraged and contribution to service and engagement is expected. The successful candidate will be working alongside the Discipline Lead and other Associate Lecturers within the Dentomaxillofacial Radiology discipline.
We are seeking to appoint an outstanding candidate with a passion and commitment to excellence in teaching. The successful candidate should be qualified with an advanced professional qualification in Dentomaxillofacial Radiology (Dental Specialist) (or is currently progressing towards an advanced professional qualification for Level A). They should also hold full registration with the Dental Board of Australia as a General Dentist and as a Dental Specialist or eligibility for full specialist registration. Applicants should also demonstrate evidence of clinical scholarly work and clinical research output.
It is a condition of employment for this role that you will be required to provide evidence of immunisation against certain vaccine preventable diseases.
A Research Higher Degree (PhD or equivalent) is desirable.

This is a 0.2FTE to 0.3FTE part-time continuing appointment at Academic Level A or B which will be commensurate with the candidate's qualifications, skills and experience.
The level A remuneration package will be in the range of $64,533.50 - $87,535.13 p.a. FTE, plus employer superannuation contributions of up to 17% (total package will be in the range $75,504.20 - $102,416.10 p.a. FTE).
The level B remuneration package will be in the range of $92,142.74 - $109,419.20 p.a. FTE, plus Dental Loading of $15,175.15 p.a FTE, plus employer superannuation contributions of up to 17% (total package will be in the range $125,561.93 - $145,775.38 p.a. FTE).
