The University of Canberra is seeking a tenacious Research Fellow to work within the Institute for Applied Ecology (IAE). IAE is recognised nationally and internationally as a dynamic and pro-active Institute yielding excellent research, post-graduate education and leadership in effective conservation and management of our natural resources.

The successful applicant will be a member of an interdisciplinary team designing, developing and applying quantitative ecological modelling in freshwater systems. The candidate will share time between University of Canberra & CSIRO, Black Mountain and be based out of Canberra. The suitable candidate will contribute to the effective functioning of the research team and help deliver project objectives.

We are looking for a strong background in freshwater science and in quantitative ecological modelling, with a working knowledge of hydrology is preferred.
