We’re busy making things better for the customers of the University’s shared HR Service, whether they’re one of our 12,000 employees, or 40,000 candidates who apply for our jobs each year.

Applications are invited for a Post Management Assistant within the HR Systems Team. You will be a key point of contact on post management issues - ensuring that all posts on ResourceLink hold accurate and up to date information. You will also ensure the posts on ResourceLink reflect the correct organisational structure and support post to post setup. This role is key in developing relationships and liaising with Schools, Directorates and wider stakeholders on Post Management and HR Systems protocols.

We're looking for someone with excellent computer skills, and experience of using a range of standard packages (for example Microsoft Office, Excel) as well as specialist HR & Payroll software (Resourcelink) and data extraction tools to manipulate data within systems and across applications to produce management information (i.e. Discoverer, Cognos etc). You'll have knowledge of Higher Education, and of the principles and issues relating to operational business processes in Human Resources, Payroll and Pensions Administration. You also need to be a great communicator and genuine team player.

When you’re with us, you’re not only working for the University, you’re working for people in our local communities and beyond, who benefit from our teaching, research and social responsibility. Here, no matter what your role or responsibilities, everyone works together with one common goal: to make great things happen. So join us, and take pride in the part you play.
