Job description

The Communications & Engagement Service at the University of Central Lancashire (UCLan) is looking to appoint an enthusiastic and self-motivated Content Marketing Officer who is as passionate about creating engaging and innovative content as they are about delivering integrated campaigns.

We're looking for an experienced marketing professional, specialising in social media and content creation to join the University's award-winning Digital Marketing function as we embark on an exciting period of development to deliver dynamic and rich content across all channels to support our Faculty of Culture and Creative Industries.

With a proven track-record in content marketing, the successful candidate will work closely with our Faculty of Culture and Creative Industries, to deliver authentic and compelling digital content helping to tell our unique story across a variety of platforms.

The successful candidate will be able to effectively optimise our social media platforms, disseminate and deliver unique and creative media to drive community engagement and participation, as well as support our brand and campaign marketing initiatives.

You'll be a results-oriented, all-round team player who is able to form relationships across the University, with a good commercial awareness and excellent communication skills. Analytical and evaluation skills are essential, as is experience of social media management tools and video production. Experience of content management systems would also be advantageous.

Due to the unique nature of this role, it is imperative that you are a pro-active self-starter with creative flair, excellent organisation and interpersonal skills with a high attention to detail.
