HK - Operations
Coordinate and perform the clerical and manual tasks involved in the receipt, verification, storage and issuance of specialized equipment, materials and supplies in accordance with established policies and procedures. Provide support in microfiber cleaning/distribution process.
Support in the daily cleaning, inventorying, processing and pickup/delivery of microfiber at designated locations on Duke University campus.Utilization of EAM system including but not limited to creating,closing and tracking work orders.Provide data for reports and analyses of stock turnover, new merchandise received, shortage or overstock of merchandise and damaged goods.Monitor inventories; assist in the buying of cyclical inventory.
Assist in the training of new employees; review the work of lower leveled personnel.Maintain outstanding order, purchase order and requisition files;conduct special and scheduled facility inventories.Coordinate and perform the handling of incoming and outgoing shipments,verification of new merchandise against purchase orders and invoices, and the transfer of merchandise according tor equisitions.
Transport material to designated points on campus.Perform other related duties incidental to the work described herein.The above statements describe the general nature and level of work being performed by individuals assigned to this classification.
