CPPE is currently going through a contract renewal. We expect an extension beyond March 2019 but can only confirm after the contract review which will be after the appointment of this post.

Focus – Supporting pharmacists and pharmacy technicians as they engage with an 18 month learning programme.

We have exciting and unique opportunities for talented, experienced pharmacy professionals to join the CPPE team delivering our learning pathways for new roles.

CPPE is actively engaged in supporting pharmacy professionals in clinical practice within areas such as general practice and foundation practice. A key part of our work is to offer committed education supervisors to support and guide them in getting the best from their learning.

We are recruiting education supervisors in the following areas:

South East, London, South Central, York & Humber, North West and East of England - Please state on application your preferred area.

You should be a great communicator, have experience in facilitating learning, have a good understanding of the future of pharmacy and be aware of current policy within the NHS.

When you complete the additional information of your application, use these headings to structure the essential information that we will score your application against. Describe your strengths, challenges and evidence in the following areas:

  • Developing learning and assessment at postgraduate level
  • Delivering learning and assessment at postgraduate level
  • Experience of clinical practice in areas such as general practice, care homes, urgent care
  • Managing the learning of others including feedback, support and action/learning planning
  • Developing and maintaining a network (pharmacy and multidisciplinary)
  • Supporting change and effective time management

We will provide essential training to equip you to lead learning events and provide education supervision. Successful candidates who do not hold a certificate of education or teaching proficiency qualification will be required to complete our education recognition scheme. You will be expected to travel across England to facilitate learning and attend meetings.
