Business Analyst, Office of Strategic Information Management
BUSINESS ANALYST IV, Resource Development-Office of Strategic Information Management, to lead the implementation of strategic projects, working closely with RD leadership to identify and provide oversite of key initiatives. Will manage and build support for projects; develop long-term project plans with strategic milestones; negotiate timelines with stakeholders and programming services/reporting analytics managers and others responsible for delivering outcomes; drive vendors to deliver within established milestones/budgets; perform ongoing analysis to determine requirements for the design, development, and implementation of information systems for RD and MIT advancement community; play a key role in conducting business and data analysis for these systems and in implementing new business policies and procedures; and perform application testing, develop training curriculum/documentation, and provide high-level support.
REQUIRED: bachelor's degree; seven years’ business analysis experience; evidence of successful project management in the implementation of business applications, business processes, enterprise systems, databases, and/or CRMs; strong project management and oral and written communication skills; experience gathering business or functional requirements; and discretion with confidential information. Must be able to manage multiple projects/priorities and meet deadlines; reach out and collaborate across MIT; and present information in a clear, cohesive manner to a variety of users. Seek a self-motivated team player who is willing to collaborate with a variety of staff. Experience using and integrating a wide variety of business systems including enterprise database, reporting, web, mobile and desktop applications preferred; as is experience with advancement services in higher education or other nonprofit organization. Experience with Ellucian's Advance; experience developing technical documentation; knowledge of advanced database concepts, preferably in an Oracle environment; and knowledge of Crystal Reports or other reporting software desirable.
