Grade 7 - £34,189 to £50,132 per annum, dependent on experience
The Department of Computing is investing in its research and teaching capacity with a goal of making a substantial submission to the Computer Science and Informatics Unit of Assessment in REF 2021. As a response to growth in student numbers we are seeking an academic to teach within the subject area of Cyber Security.
You will be responsible for delivering a high-quality learning environment for students and contributing to the development of new and exciting courses at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. You will be asked to join an existing research group in the department and work with colleagues to build both research capacity and deliver impact.
As well as the ability to inspire and motivate students, you will be personally motivated to develop a research profile that is on target for a return to the next Research Assessment Exercise (REF). A PhD in a relevant discipline is desirable
